Ароматическая свеча Grapefruit

I got this as a sample recently with an order. When I opened my box, I was excited since I could immediately smell this candle. It smelled delicious. When I finally lit it though, it was disappointing. I let it burn for a few hours, but I could not smell it at all unless I put my nose right next to it. I could smell it even less while it burned than I could before I ever lit it. Even the smell when I got close just smelled like a candle burning with a hint of citrus underneath. The grapefruit fragrance is great, and I would definitely consider something like a diffuser in this scent. But unfortunately, the candle was a disappointment.

Got a mini as a sample from Sephora. I'm a fan of home scents and perfumes in general, but I have generally found Nest to be somewhat overpriced in terms of "normal" perfumes. However, I will say that this Grapefruit scent is def a league above other home fragrances. I actually like it more that Muji break time (my typical go-to), but it is pricey. I'm currently considering buying the diffuser, but the candle is a vibe.

I really like the scent of this candle. I got the mini in the birthday gift and then purchased the 8oz. The only issue I'm having is that it's not burning very nicely, during the first burn I had it lit for hours and I couldn't get a full melt on the top and now I can't stop the tunneling, which is really annoying. I won't repurchase the 8oz, maybe the larger 3 wick size would be better.

Wow got this candle in the Sephora candle sampler pack. It outshined the rest and I am not even a fan of grapefruit but my bf loves it! It’s the most potent candle in the pack in my opinion.

Wonderful fresh citrus scent, never overpowering. This is one of the few candles that does not bother my scent-sensitive husband. I did not experience any issues with tunneling, and the candle has excellent throw. I do wish they had a lid, but the glass is thick and the jar can be reused for something else

I’m trying to figure out if I got a dud or what happened with my candle because my experience was completely different than all the 5 star reviews. I got the Sephora favorite candle set during the holidays so I got to try this scent and then I redeemed my free candle voucher for the 8oz which is what I’m reviewing now. First, the smell is ordinary, it’s almost like a bathroom scent to me, I feel like Nest would create more complex scents but this is just citrusy. Secondly, this tunnels HORRIBLY like I’m on my 4th burn and have had to fix the candle every single time because the 1 wick is not enough in this container. I’m kind of obsessed with candles so I know how to take care of them and light them so the fact that I can burn this candle for like 6 hours might sound good but all that burning still results in horrible uneven burning. Lastly, it has basically no throw for my needs. In a small room behind a closed door, this will perform for sure but when I put it in a bigger room like my dining room or living room, the scent is nonexistent. I understand it’s not a huge candle but almost $50 for what? Lol this was a total disappointment for me.

Love, love, love this candle. It is one of my favorite scents and a must-buy.

Even though I don't like paying this much for candles, Nest candles are worth the price. I did take a star off only because I had to take this off my nightstand because even when off, you still get the strong fragrance and it got a bit cloying as I was trying to sleep. I go through phases when I love the fragrance and other times when it is too cloying but if you're looking for a grapefruit candle, this is probably the best. Great fragrance throw too.
