I got this for my boyfriend as a gift because 1: he has oily skin & 2: he works hands on so he sweats a lot which causes him to have a lot of dirt on his face. The first use my boyfriend said he saw a difference and ever since then, he cannot stop using it! I definitely recommend this to those who work hands on a lot.

So, ever since I've been running out of the City Block Charcoal Cleansing Gel, which I've been using for almost a year and half; and I couldn't find it anywhere in stores. It seems clinique has changed/repackaged? a few things recently, a few which where things I used. I kept looking until I went to a clinique specific boutique at The Bay and they told me that THIS charcoal face wash IS the previously known city block I was looking for, just repackaged. I read the ingredients, they're exactly the same. The Butylene Glycol is like 2 ingredients down where it was..but I think the effect is miniscule. Every other ingredient is there, exactly in the same order. I just wanted to put it out there, if anyone will read this :)

Love this face wash! Disclaimer, I am not a man, but I use this happily anyway. My husband and I share it! It's not at all drying but leaves my skin really clean.

Love this! I bought this for my husband but I've totally stolen it. It is gentle and leaves my face super clean but without the dryness I usually get. It's also helped keep my pores clear - they're nearly invisible now.

Ever since Clinique has discontinued the city block face wash I have been using this. I think the formula is the same. It takes off all my makeup. I love it.
