I am just getting into lip pencils. The colors are very flattering and richly pigmented. Applies smoothly and lasts a decent amount of time if you’re not eating anything. I like to layer the nars lip oil over it for a nice glossy finish

I love the color Halong Bay! But the formula is so dry and not very pigmented, it takes a lot of work just trying to draw and apply onto my lips. Wish it was more creamier and smooth, especially for the price.

I bought the Cap d ail after reading a review that it is the closest shade to match pink toned lips and I happily agree. After trying four other pinkish lip liners, and being disappointed they had too much tan or beige, finally found this. My lips are asymmetrical, this allows me to line up above on one side to even out, while looking natural as possible. I was thrown by the description of “dusty mauve,” as that is not how I would describe my lips, but they can call it whatever they want because it does the trick.
I will give this a 3 star because it dries out so fast and doesn’t feel smooth on my lips. I am now using it with the lip balm

The shade mariachi pairs perfectly with my (now discontinued🥲) YSL satin lipstick in 1971❤️. I work as a BA and i tried this on my break because i ran out of my old liner. It did not disappoint!! Didn’t have to reapply either product for the rest of my shift on a BUSY Saturday! NARS is most of my makeup collection lol, they never miss!
