I’ve been using the original essence for a long time and switched to this one a month ago to try it out. I’ll never go back to the original. This stuff is amazing and dramatically changed my skin for the better. It’s softer, younger looking and just overall dramatically revitalized. I always look for more budget friendly options when it comes to skincare and save the splurges only for products that are truly worth it, and this one truly is. Worth the price. I’m hooked.

I recently started using this Shiseido serum by Shiseido and I’ve been really liking it so far. I love using serums, especially for wrinkles since that’s one of my main concerns. After the first use my skin felt super hydrated and more plump. I also noticed my forehead lines started looking softer, which I was really happy about because I do have some deeper ones. The serum feels very lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling heavy. I also love the bottle design, it looks elegant and chic. Overall I really enjoy using this serum and my skin has been loving it too.

I’m a halfway finished with this bottle (about a month in). I use this in the morning and evening. It’s the same water consistency, but (obviously) more concentrated, which in my opinion, you can feel. I have oily, acne-prone skin. I’m not sure if it does anything special, but I’m still only a month into this. I used the regular version for 4 month, and I felt that visibly made a difference. Pretty gold packaging for the bathroom counter though.

I love this. The original cheaper version does nothing for me. This gold one gives me life! Its so expensive so I don’t even and to travel with it so I come back looking old and after a few days of using tbis there are visible differences in my skin! I am always satisfied with my skin when using this. It’s absolutely fabulous.

First things first; the consistency is like water. But don’t let that fool you. Review; the Ultimate Essence is far more powerful than the “regular” essence. I had been using the lower intensity of pitera for years in SKII’s Essence. Last year, I took advantage of the 20% off discount and bought the Ultimate. I won’t go back. Though expensive, it truly evens out the fine lines, pores, and texture of the skin over time. You will not notice an immediate effect. But, after 1-2 months, you’ll begin to see a real change in the smoothness of your facial skin. Your skin will become noticeably softer. Hint; get a 1 or 2 ounce eyedropper bottle and pour the product into it. It lasts much longer and keeps the remainder fresh. I use 6 drops over my whole face twice per day- morning and night. The whole bottle then lasts 8 months plus.

I am obviously in the minority but I wasn’t impressed with this. I have been using the original essence for years and can tell that it really does help my skin. I tried this for a month and did not notice that it did anything different, I also did not like it as much because it had a slightly slimy feel to it. To me it is not worth the higher price and I will stick with the original.

So far, I'm happy with this investment. My textured, 44-year-old skin has become softer, and plumper in just 2 weeks of use. This essence is extremely hydrating as well. Now the price is a bit scary for most people and I get that and so if you are on the fence about it, I would suggest two things for you... #1 Buy at Sephora or get a sample at Sephora to try. If you hate it, they have an awesome return policy. #2 I don't think you'll need to return it as you will see a difference within two weeks. Please know that a little goes a long way and so, you can expect this bottle to last a very long time. Twice per day, I put 3-4 drops in my hands, rub them together to warm it up and I can cover my face and neck and have left-over to smooth onto my soon-to-be-aging hands. I suspect that the longer I use this, the more results I will see as this really has brightened my complexion. I don't apply with a cotton square because it is wasteful. The cotton absorbs too much of this expensive product. This also absorbs very quickly into the skin and has no odor!!! I can quickly apply other products right after applying without any issue.I have heard that this product is amazing for anyone who suffers from acne, so be aware this might be a great solution to help clear up your skin.The packaging is pretty, but in all honesty, they could do better with the functionality of it. But, when you pay a premium price, people sometimes desire beautiful packaging. I personally would rather have functionality over pretty. The screw cap is a pain to screw back on when I have wet hands after applying. I don't think a pump is necessary as I can see the pump being wasteful in not determining the right amount to dispense. Therefore, my suggestion would be a flip-top cap.

I've included SK-II Ultimate Revival Essence into my daily skin care routine for around three weeks now and can see and feel a major difference. I've been sure to follow the directions of using it twice a day in the morning and night to get the full benefits of the product. I have slightly sensitive combination skin with an uneven skin tone, and slight smiles lines.The highly concentrated pitera and centella are what makes this what I call magic water and it works great on my skin and for my skins needs. It is a clear liquid that you pour onto your hands and pat onto your face and neck after cleansing your face. I like how easy and simple it is to use and apply because it shortens my Skincare routine. My skin feel so much more moisturized without any feeling of greasiness or feeling heavy. It also does not leave any strong or bad odor. It's a hot and humid climate that I live in during the summer and I have combination skin and this works wonderfully for both these skin types. My skin allover feel silky smooth, hydrated, firmer and has an all over glow. I like this product because it works great as an anti-aging product because of these features. When I touch my face after having applied the SK-II Ultimate Revival Essence it feels soft and hydrated and I'm surprised at how fast it is absorbed into my skin which is an important factor for me. I love how my skin looks more radiant after continuous use and plumper due to the increased firmness. I completely trust and can promise that the products claims are true! I'm so happy with the results and love how healthy it looks and feels! I even have gone out without makeup and have received compliments on my radiant skin! This is a high quality product with a high price tag but you get what you pay for and it's worth the cost.

This was the biggest splurge I've ever had (other than buying the Dyson hairdryer as a gift) with Sephora, and I was excited. I bought this formula after I had run out of my umpteenth bottle of the original formula. First thing I noticed, as expected, the bottle is gorgeous, and I looked forward to seeing it on my vanity every day.
