This cleanser is beautiful. The consistency is not too thick and not too thin. It cleans my face well and leaves it really soft. I am 51 and have always had combination skin, but I'd say these days its transitioning to normal. I wouldn't say it's dry. This cleanser doesn't leave my skin tight and doesn't sting. I haven't used it to take off make-up yet, just to cleanse a bare face, but the product description does say that it removes makeup. It feels like a velvety lotion. That's how I would describe the texture - a lotion rather than a cream. It's not super-runny like the title "Cleansing Milk" would suggest, and neither is it cold cream-like. It is fragranced, and the smell is quite obvious, which is something I'm a fan of. I love fragranced products. I was a little surprised by the type scent. I was looking for something that smelled spa-like, as the Caudalie VinoPerfect Night Cream does, but this cleanser has a sweet scent that smells just like marzipan. While it wasn't the type of fragrance I was looking for, it has really grown on me and I look forward to the ritual of massaging this cleanser into my face each night. It's very calming and soothing. Feels and smells luxurious. Would definitely buy again. I bought this product myself, so this is not an incentivised review.

I bought this specifically as I didn't want a foaming cleanser. Milky cleansers are best for us dry skin folks to use in the AM. I double cleanse in the evening with an oil cleanser and then a foaming cleanser to wash off makeup and outside dirt and grime, but in the morning I wanted something more gentle and hydrating that wouldnt disturb my skin barrier. This is perfect and exactly what I wanted! Smells lightly of almonds, which I love. Leaves my skin SO SOFT, I will repurchase this when I run out!

3 stars for the almond scent, it’s exactly the type of almond scent I like in my skincare products. -2 stars for its actual cleansing effectiveness. It does not remove make up well and like another reviewer said, it feels like a film is left on face.

Oh heavenly, oh divine! Oh sweet, sweet amaretti scent!

Is it special, no. Do you absolutely need it, no. I don’t use this to remove makeup. I basically use it in the mornings when I wake up and, to double cleanse after removing my makeup. It has a slight scent but I don’t mind it. I personally enjoy milky cleansers so, it’s a good buy for me. But, you can probably find something cheaper at the drug store.

Very light, I feel like I have to use 3-4x to get a good clean feeling. There are better options in my opinion.

I really like this product. My skin is really healthy so I don’t need some deep clean products. This one is mild and gentle but with a good enough cleaning level. I can even use it as a makeup remover. I bought many times and it works perfectly for me.

I was recommended a milk cleanser by an esthetician about 3 years ago. I decided to give this one a try and I have never gone back to regular cleansers. Not only is it better because I don’t have to get water everywhere and down my elbows, it leaves my face clean and super hydrated at the same time. The difference is very visible. With a regular cleanser my skin was always left feeling tight and dry. That is not the case with this product. Just one pump in a cotton pad and done. It’s a dream come true for me. This is the best face cleanser ever. It doesn’t dry the skin but it’s not greasy either. It leaves the skin soft and glowy without causing acne or redness.

Does not remove makeup or mascara and face feels like a film is left on it . Does not feel as if it cleans your face at all. If you wear no makeup and have very reactive skin it might be ok.
