I’ve been getting into skincare and hygiene for about 6 years from now and I do not regret it . Today I will be reviewing the product, Loreal Professional Repair protein treatment hair mask. I was very excited to try this product because this summer I had dyed my hair trice and my curly hair was pretty dry and I was experiencing alot of hair loss. First impressions of the product was how simple and clean the packaging that it comes in or the container you can say. It’s pretty straight forward and instructions on using are on the back. The texture of it isn’t too thick which I love and it made my hair soften after being washed. For the smell test it smells pretty great kind of sweet actually. For the performance, my hair definitely looked shinier and thicker.

I was initially skeptical, as I had tried L'Oréal's drugstore hair line and had a less-than-stellar experience as someone with curly hair. I'm pleased to try this hair mask and see how it benefits my hair. I was worried because of how thick it product product-wise, but a little goes a longgggg way!! My hairs never been more silky and hydrated and not to mention no frizz to be seen- which is unheard of with my curly hair!

I’ve been using the L’Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Protein Treatment Hair Mask for a few weeks, and I’m honestly impressed. My hair is color-treated, prone to dryness, and gets frizzy easily, but this mask made a noticeable difference after the very first use. The texture is creamy and easy to apply—just a small amount goes a long way. I leave it in for about 5 minutes after shampooing, and when I rinse it out, my hair feels instantly softer and more manageable. Once my hair dries, it’s smoother, shinier, and feels much stronger with less breakage when I brush. What I love most is that it doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it greasy like some deep conditioners do. Instead, it feels lightweight while still giving salon-quality results at home. If your hair is feeling brittle, dry, or over-processed, I definitely recommend giving this mask a try. It’s been a game-changer for restoring strength and shine. Even thought this is a protein treatment, the moisturizing and hydrating component of this hair mask cannot be overlooked. Upon the first application, this product glided onto my hair. It provides a good amount of slip, so it was very easy for me to detangle my hair. The scent is a bit perfumey, very floral favored. However it is not overwhelming, and when rinsed out it barely lingers. When washed out, it still kept my hair moisturized. It was easy to continue my wash day, putting in my leave- in and my styles. Its not too heavy that it will weigh down your hair, but it's still thick. I recently had a cut of my damaged ends, but when I used this product before then, it still made those ends feel more manageable than they had in a while. It almost stopped my from cutting them. Product was received as part of an educational promotion.

This product was given in exchange for an honest review. I often look for products to strengthen and repair my 3c fine curly hair. Most protein treatments make my hair feel over processed or simply crunchy. I usually have to do a delicate balance between protein, deep conditioners and treatments. When I tried this, I was shocked and amazed that a protein centered product could provide my hair with strength but also softness and refinement. In one use, my curls bounced and didn't snag or snap, leaving luscious refined curls. My styling products went on smoother, my curls lasted longer and wash day wasn't so intimidating anymore. I'm recommending this product to all my curl friends and family! Thank you so much L'Oreal, for never disappointing and always delivering on great results!

I no longer give more than 1 star to expensive products that don't have tamper-proof packaging/seals anymore. I'm so tired of spending money on products that have already been opened and used, as appears to be the case with this hair mask. People lie when they return products and claim they are unused and now stores are re-selling them at full price based solely on that claim. Brands pretend that "climate" mumbo jumbo is the reason for getting rid of tamper-proof packaging/seals but really it's to reduce losses from returned products. Now they can just re-sell them and the customer doesn't know. L'Oréal is another name on the list of brands I will no longer buy for this reason.

I love this mask! This has been my tried and true for YEARS! Like from when you could only buy from hair professionals. Never fails to soften my hair and love the smell.
