Two stars only for the thinner side. The broader side pokes and is not soft. Overall I don’t reach for this brush.

It was great until the smaller point brush went into the handle. I tried pulling it out and it did not stay put afterwards. For such a price point, this should not be happening.

I don’t wear foundation very often, but I absolutely use concealer on a daily basis. Sometimes I lightly tap the product in using the tip of my finger, letting the warmth of my skin melt the product in. Still, other times I really love the precision of a brush, so I can reach different angles and do detail work with ease. This double-ended brush makes it a breeze to apply and stipple concealer. The hairs stand firm, yet they’re soft to the touch when in contact with my skin. They also really hold and distribute the product well. I find that I actually use far less product when I use a brush as opposed to manually, as the concealer isn’t being wasted by blending into my fingertips. I take great care of my brush collection and imagine I’ll have this one for many years. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

Being a makeup artist for over 20 years I have established an undying need for makeup brushes. This concealer brush is unlike others I own. The small end is perfect for pinpointing concealer and highlighter under my brows. The stubby end is perfect for my inner corners where a highlighter is necessary to brighten my dark circles. The smaller end could also double as a liner brush. The stubby end could double as a smoky liner brush for the lower lash line. I’m not a big fan of double ended brushes because one side gets a little more abuse because I store my brushes in a cup so one end will be bristle end down. I would also be hesitant about inserting this brush in a brush roll because the bristles may get damaged. I am a true believer in cleaning my personal brushes once a week or at the very least twice a month. The brushes in my kit are cleaned after every use. This brush is well made and I intend to use it often.
