beautiful formula, but the smell it TERRIBLE. I had to return this, it was so bad. It smells like chemicals, both in the package and on your face. expected way more from an expensive luxury brand. one perhaps different batches smelled differently, because it's clear not everyone's smelled like this. But with the amount of people that received ones that smell bad, it's clear it's not a one-off. *not an exaggeration*

The packaging is so elite. The color payoff is perfect. The bronzer is maybe the best in my collection. Totally worth the price tag. Bonus… the blush + bronzer packaging is perfect for summer travel season.

I really wanted to love the Baby Cheeks + Face Trace duo in Tulle & Truffle, and in some ways, I do. The shades themselves are beautiful - subtle, refined, and incredibly sophisticated on the skin. Both the blush and bronzer give that effortless, “your skin but better” finish that looks polished without trying too hard. However, the packaging makes the experience more frustrating than it should be. The pans are quite small and placed right next to each other, which makes it difficult to use a standard bronzer brush. Even a medium-sized brush struggles to pick up product cleanly without dipping into both shades at once. This becomes especially annoying when I want to use just the bronzer or just the blush - it’s hard to control. My biggest issue, though, is the formula performance over time. I experienced hard pan almost immediately after the first use, despite properly setting my base after applying cream products. It affects how easily the product picks up and takes away from the overall luxury feel. In short, the colors and finish are gorgeous, but the packaging design and formula durability don’t quite match the high-end expectations.

I kindly received the Baby Cheeks Powder Blush Duo in the shade Petal & Biscut in exchange for my honest review. To start, I think the packaging is gorgeous. It is a slim, pink, metal component that feels high quality. There are two shades inside: a blush and a contour shade. The shade Petal & Biscut has a light, rosy-peach/pink shade of blush. It also has a contour shade that appears to be medium intensity and a cool-ish, almost pink in my opinion, undertone. I believe the undertone of the contour shade is meant to complement the pink tone of the blush, which I do appreciate. Just looking at the shades, I thought the blush looked just right in intensity for my light-medium neutral toned skin and the contour a little off toned and darker than what I usually go for. However, due to the sheer pigment of the formula, both the blush and contour shades appear much lighter in intensity than in the pan. I find that I have to build up a few layers to obtain my desired result. This is not necessarily a bad thing; I enjoy how easily it blends and how it doesn’t appear patchy or dirty on the face. For my personally preference, I don’t believe this product in this shade adds enough definition to my face/enough impact for me to wear alone. I enjoy this product a lot more when paired with cream products underneath. Otherwise, it is just a little too natural for me. Especially the blush shade, which is a little too light for me. I end up using the blush more as a highlighting blush - one that I put more towards the center of my face since it is so light in color and pigment. Then I go in with a slightly deeper blush with more pigment on my cheekbones. But I don’t always have the time or patience to be putting on multiple blushes and I assume many others do not have the luxury of time either. At this price point, it should be a one-and-done product. I’m tempted to try another shade to see if that alleviates my gripes; howev

I love this product. I got petal cream blush stick initially, and loved it. However, i prefer powder versions more. I saw this combo and instantly bought. Looks amazing esp for my skin tone. Biscuit is a perfect contour bronzer for me and mixed with petal gives a great sun kissed look. Highly recommend. I don’t smell any chemicals either; as some mentioned in their reviews.

Pigmented but patchy. Not worth the cost for performance but love the packaging.

Very bad foul, moldy, sour smell. Save yourself the money and look elsewhere. Not worth the $75 price tag.

I was excited to try this cool toned desaturated blush. it has a weird smell. it is not pigmented enough for light medium skin

I have been looking for a matte blush that does not have any silicones or dimethicone. That's very hard to find. I already love WA products, so I was happy to find these and waited to buy because they're expensive. I was so confused after receiving my first duo in Mimi/Coquette. The description specifically states "The Duos provide a buildable, soft matte finish without any shimmer or sparkle." Coquette literally has a golden shimmer/sheen on my skin!! I was not happy. I was confused because of the description and the swatches, which do not show this golden sheen anywhere. Even when I swatched in Sephora, you can't see any gold sheen, but it's definitely there when applied on the face. I'm a fair/light olive, so the peachy color looked a bit too orange leaning anyway. I returned it specifically because of the sheen/shimmer, and tried again with Tulle/Truffle. I LOVE this one, and did not think I would. It goes on light, so even though it's pretty vibrant in the pan, I find it easy to apply and blend. I love that these blushes definitely give a blurring effect. Tulle is a really pretty and unique pink that actually looks really good on my skin tone. I'm happy to have found one that works for me and that I love. I also agree with others that I wish it was refillable and you could choose the colors.
