It blew up while I was using it! I’ve had it for five months, and only used it a couple of times since I mainly use my bigger brush. I was blow drying my hair (in California) and suddenly I heard a loud noise, the power went out in that section of the house, and the brush smelled like burn. Fortunately my hair didn’t burn, and I was safe. But it was super scary! I would most definitely NOT RECOMMEND this product. It was great while it lasted, but it only lasted about 4 uses. :(

This tool broke after a few uses making a loud pop and then smelling burnt and being extremely loud. I reached out to BondiBoost who said the warranty had to go through Sephora, and Sephora said they don’t cover the warranty. . had only BondiBooat does. Purchased this for traveling as it’s a compact size blowout brush but it broke after a few uses. If you purchase this tool through Sephora they will not cover it as part of their warranty.

I used it once on my daughter's hair and it was amazing.... but the second time I used it, the on/off switch broke while I was turning it off to resection her hair. I do not recommend this product due to the poor mechanical design of the switch. if they redesign the switch to a more conventional (and reliable) style rather than a ring that spins and flips the actual switch underneath, I would be glad to purchase this again. As-is, I returned this product and won't purchase a replacement from this brand.

I absolutely loved it! Unfortunately…I noticed it wasn’t working well after the third time. It started with the cool button no longer working. Whenever i would set it to “cool” it stayed hot. Same with the “low” button. Finally. The “off “ button stopped working. Hopefully they fix this but for now I’m returning it.

Was so excited over what this product could potentially offer. First time I used it I noticed a slight burning smell, brushed it off as a new product, used a second time for approximately 1-2 minutes then packed it for a weekend trip. The brush sparked and CAUGHT ON FIRE. The hotel had to dispose of the brush, it was not safe for me to bring back home. So disappointing but very glad no one was hurt!

I loved this dryer but it only lasted 9 months before burning out. Used lightly, ten minutes at a time a few days a week. Sephora customer service was not able to assist in a replacement or refund.

unfortunately the mechanism died after only a few weeks (and by that i mean it exploded and smelt like burnt plastic). i’ve used it maybe 6-7 times before it gave up. loved it before it became a hazard

Only had this brush for a few months and it started smoking and stopped working. Do not buy. Sephora wont do anything for you when it does break and youll be out the money and the product.

I already own the full size BondiBoost Blowout Brush that’s included with the air styler set and loved it so much that I had to get the mini and I’m SO glad I did! We travel a lot, and this little version is a total game changer. It’s super lightweight, packs easily, and still delivers the same gorgeous results as the original. I have medium fine hair, and this mini brush gives me great volume without weighing my hair down. It smooths out frizz and makes my blowouts look salon worthy in a fraction of the time. Honestly, it’s the perfect travel companion and just as powerful as the full size.
