I LOVE this palette! My boyfriend purchased this iconic palette for me a couple years ago for my birthday! I love how creamy and easy to blend the shadows are not to mention huge! The purple metallic color reminds me of the old stars n rockets color by MAC but better! It definitely has become one of my favorites and is definitely a staple in my eyeshadow palette collection. I have several of mother lat’s palettes and this is among my top three! If you are considering if it’s worth it-it definitely is especially if you grab the intensifying eye shape primer! So good!

It’s the formulation not the people delivering it
I am saying a lot of reviews that it’s Sephora‘s fault that the package keeps coming busted but actually, I’ve ordered this pallet three times on the actual site and every time the same shade breaks that brown one that everyone keeps showing broken always is broken so I think it’s a formulation Problem or they didn’t press it in there enough

Broken (Arrived Damaged) but Beautiful
The palette arrived broken, and there was little care taken to prevent any damage to the items in my large Sephora Sale shipment. There was no insulation or air wrap, just paper— as if that actually does anything for delicate powders! However, I will say that the customer service I experienced was great— as they quickly sent me a new one which wasn’t damaged. :)
I was delighted to find that the eyeshadow is the quality formula I’ve come to expect from Pat McGrath. I heard they were reformulating all their palettes to be pressed, including their special shades, so I was surprised and happy to see the baked texture was still in a few of the shadows. Don’t know if I got the old ones or what but wow, they are BEAUTIFUL and QUALITY! Mattes are pigmented and blend like butter, the shimmers are stunning, and the glitters are out of this world. I got so many compliments just the 2 days I wore the eyeshadows from this palette. The variety of different colors and textures makes me think I’ll have a lot of fun thinking of creative ways to use them.
Pictured look is Secret Eden in crease and outer corner, Astral Venusian Orchid in inner corner, Astral Amethyst Moon on lid, and then on the lower lashline I used MAC Powder Kiss Eyeshadow in Such a Tulle!
