Holy moly….this scent is absolutely beautiful,, no way does this smell like men’s aftershave…I’ve only had it for a week and stopped twice….Love, ❤️…will stock up on this one…
Such a nice base scent- especially layered under a vanilla perfume . Stays 5-6 hours in my experience
I’ve been searching for a dupe to GAPs Grass scent from the 90s and this is close enough for me! I love the earthy, woodsy, green scent. I’ve had it in for close to 4 hours and I can still smell it on my skin. Wikl definitelh repurchaw, and cant wait to try the orhers.
I really like this balm. It feels smooth on the skin and makes my perfume last longer. The scent is rich and warm, and when I layer it with the Rare Eau de Parfum, it gives the fragrance more depth and makes it feel more special. It’s perfect for when I want my scent to stand out and last all day.
The smell is earthy, woody, and almost a little aquatic. I think of dewy Forrest. I think it smells slightly masculine leaning at first but softens more as it dries down. The packaging isn't my favorite because the tube becomes less aesthetic as you squeeze it. I really like the idea of these layering balms to customize your scent. The texture is nice not oily or any weird residue as it dries. Overall, pretty good! I like the concept a lot.
The scent is nice, stays on my skin for hours but is just not for me. I still think it's a good product and deserves a good review, even if I am not a fan of the scent. I knocked off a star though because it's very strong so it overpowers it perfume instead of mixing together.
Sophisticated, Earthy, and Totally Addictive I love it I didn’t know I needed a fragrance layering balm in my life until I tried this one from Rare Beauty , now I can’t live without it! The Woody Oak scent is incredibly elegant and grounding, with rich, earthy notes that feel warm, comforting, and undeniably luxurious.
This woody oak balm is super strong and it actually leans rather masculine. I don’t really know that this layers well with the perfume, as it instantly turns it into a cologne smell rather than a perfume. It lasts a good amount of time and projects okay, but mainly just not a good scent for me. Definitely best to smell it as a sample first.
I’m in love with Woody Oak Rare fragrance layering balm. It makes my Rare perfume last so much longer. It smells really nice too, it has earthy and woodsy notes. I always use both layering balm and fragrance. This duo is amazing! I highly recommend trying it.
I never ever leave reviews for beauty products, but I just had to for this one. I was SO impressed with this layering balm (something I've never even heard of before btw). It makes you feel EXPENSIVE. I'm very particular about the way things feel on my skin & this has SUCH a unique texture and it also leaves your skin feeling moisturized. It's a DREAM.
