Effective as a sunscreen but leaves a white cast and smells AWFUL

Actual buyer here. The scent is so overwhelming that I wanted to wash it off minutes after applying.

This is definitely an improvement over old pre-2020 formulas. That said, I still feel it's not quite what I need it to be. I have light olive skin but this left a white cast on me. It was mild but still noticeable. Product pooled into larger pores & clung to areas of dry skin I didn't even realize I had, leaving white specks on my face noticeable at a conversational distance. Areas that didn't have larger pores/dry skin honestly looked so beautiful! If I had problemless skin this might actually look stunning, but unfortunately that's not realistic for most of us. It went on a bit too shiny at first, but that wasn't an issue after the 15min dry-down period, & it actually didn't feel heavy or weird to the touch. On that front it was nice. I will say that it rubs off pretty easily. I had to reapply a few areas after just an hour bc I saw that it came off on my nose & around my mouth where I had touched. I'm not sure how waterproof it actually is after seeing that. Oh, & the fragrance is so strong! I don't like fragrance on my face but if it were mild I would have sucked it up. This is NOT mild. It also has a menthol cooling sensation. I had a cut above my upper lip that reeeally didn't like the minty sensation. I can imagine it would be refreshing on a hot day but I wish it was advertised so I could have been prepared. My facial skin is super sensitive to the sun. For about a year I've struggled with having terrible reactions if I don't wear sunscreen. I decided to give this a shot for a 4 hour drive bc my chemical sunscreen can't handle it. IT WORKED SO WELL. I didn't feel burning from UV breaking through at the 3 hour mark. It protected me the whole way & I didn't have to slather on aloe after. It also washes off easily for mineral sunscreen. So while I can't make this my daily, & I have a number of issues with the formula, I still feel I have a use for this product. I can use it during long drives to protect my face, & it can also be a beautiful body sunscreen.

Love this sunscreen, it doesn’t have that classic sunscreen smell and doesn’t leave a white cast. It has paired with my other skin care products and makeup well without pilling. I haven’t had any problem with the packaging leaking and I traveled with this without any issues.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. After a day out in the sun being active, the sunscreen was reapplied a couple of times and has kept both of us sunburn free! The smell is fantastic and the sunscreen goes on easily in a liquid form. It spreads easily and smoothly. Great for adults and kids.

First things first, i loved the packaging, the little hook for easy access on my bag and looks really cute also. Great smell and consistency also. The only downside is that there is just 2 oz and I am conscious enough that it bothers me to finish it up so quickly and throw it in the trash. I wish it could be refilled. It does leave a white cast on your skin while it's being absorbed, then it disappears.

It doesn’t leave that overly oil overcast or comes off in the water. I prefer a clean ingredient mineral sunscreen that’s fragrance free and this one checks all the boxes

The formula feels lightweight, blends in easily and doesn’t leave that heavy white cast that so many mineral sunscreens do. It keeps our skin hydrated throughout the day. I really like that it uses non nano zinc protection while still feeling comfortable on sensitive skin doesn’t irritate skin. The clip on the packaging makes it so easy to throw onto our tote for easy access so convenient. Definitely a great sunscreen choice for both my kids and adults.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Yea for dark skin tones i wouldn’t recommend just bare skin you have to mix it with some type of moisturizer to keep cool down that ashy residue look. It is very light weight and doesn’t feel like it clogs your pores. I loved that it was easy to clip onto your bags for on the go easy accessibility.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Packaging was pretty and easy open/close twist top with a clip to keep on a backpack or diaper bag. The sunscreen lotion went on smoothly with no white casting on my medium tanned skin children. I did not see anywhere on the packaging that specified ‘for children’ so it was just my assumption because I have purchased products from this brand in the past. However, if you’re shopping online there is no mistaking it. Overall, recommend.
