I love this product. It is my SOS break-glass-incase-of-emergency mask. It is harsher than other masks but that’s perfect for spot treating really stubborn acne. I use it before bed only when I have a breakout or can feel the early stages of one. After use, my skin is a little red and sensitive but that goes away overnight. The acne is considerably improved overnight too. My breakouts clear up after 1 or 2 uses. To address some cons other reviews mentioned, the instructions on the package are absolute garbage. This IS a mask, leave it on for 5 or so minutes as directed on Sephora and Sofie Pavitt’s website. It’s also a powerfully harsh product, the ingredients include kaolin clay, glycolic acid AND strong benzoyl peroxide. It is meant to be rough. Use this when and where you need something drastic, probably not a good idea to use on the whole face if the breakout is just on the chin.

If you have acne prone skin, clogged pores - this is the best treatment you can think of. The whole line of sofiepavittface is amazing for acne skin (all non comedogenic products), but this one is great for healing pimples and/or treating areas with texture and bumps. The application is super easy and the product starts working in 2-3 days of daily use. 10/10
I was a little skeptical about this acne treatment at first because when reading how to use it, you’re only supposed to leave the spot treatment on for 5 min and then rinse. I’ve used others in the past that require a treatment to sit on for a longer time. Surprisingly, it did help reduce the size of some acne spots on my face, and the smaller ones did practically disappear pretty quickly. Practically within the next day! I’m excited to keep trying this one out and see if it will become my new go to for spot treatments!

I’ve been using this as a spot treatment, and it helps calm down active breakouts overnight without leaving my skin feeling overly dry or irritated. It layers well into my routine, and I’ve noticed my blemishes heal faster with more consistent use.
Thought this was a mask but the box instructions are for spot treatment only. It absolutely wrecked my skin after 2 uses. Pimple looks less noticeable because of the huge red irritation rash that detracts from it. Will be returning.
