I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have fine, wavy, color-treated hair that tends to be on the dry side, and I live in a very hot, dry desert climate, so I am always looking for products that add moisture without weighing my hair down. The standout feature of the Lavender Mint Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner is definitely the scent. It smells absolutely amazing. The fresh lavender and mint combination transformed my regular shower into a spa-like experience. If I purchased this product again, the fragrance would be the reason. My only disappointment is that the scent doesn’t linger in my hair very long after I get out of the shower. The texture of both products is very thick and rich, almost like honey. While I appreciated that luxurious consistency, I found it difficult to distribute evenly through my hair. The instructions mention applying to damp hair, but because of the thickness, I felt like I needed quite a bit of water to help the product spread throughout my hair. Unfortunately, the performance didn’t quite match my expectations. I never got that immediate soft, silky feeling that I usually experience with moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. My hair didn’t feel noticeably smoother or more hydrated during or after use, which left me feeling a little underwhelmed. I also noticed what seemed like a larger amount of hair shedding during my showers while using these products. I can’t say for certain that the shampoo and conditioner caused it, but they were the only new products introduced into my routine at the time. Overall, I absolutely loved the fragrance and the spa-like experience it created, but the actual results on my hair were disappointing. I wanted to love this set because the scent is incredible, but for my hair type and needs, it ultimately missed the mark.

I overall liked this shampoo but it was so thick I found it hard to spread on my head. My hair didn't feel hydrated immediately afterward, but after blow-drying it, I liked the way it felt. I usually have dry hair and sometimes my scalp gets oily and this shampoo was a good choice for most days.

The Lavender Mint Moisturizing Shampoo is very strong smelling with the lavender and tea tree oil but it does make my scalp feel invigorated. Cleaned my hair well. Wish this was a different color from the conditioner as they look exactly alike down to the bottle.

I wasn’t crazy about my hair afterwards. You also need to really like the mint smell in your hair before deciding to use it.

I tried the shampoo about 10 years ago and wasn’t impressed but I just got to try it again and I got to say wow I think it’s been reformulated. The smell is amazing. It smells like essential oils of lavender Teatree and patchouly. I have pretty heavy treated hair. I get highlighted every 12 weeks and the shampoo left it feeling squeaky, clean up all my oils, but yet not dry at all it. It still retain some moisture and feels very smooth.

I haven’t put this shampoo down since receiving it. It’s creamy, thick, lathers up nicely, and smells divine if you enjoy lavender and tea tree essential oil vibes. It’s clarifying and mildly tingly on my scalp. Honestly wish it was more tingling because I’m obsessed with that feeling. I have noticed my hair feels extremely dry after a double cleanse but I don’t mind, as the conditioner fixes this instantly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for both a color-safe and clarifying shampoo that gives a relaxing spa-experience at home.
