I used a good size amount on my hair and it didnt do anything but dry it out and the style went flat. i was really hoping it would work but it doesnt, my hair looked as if i didnt do anything to it.. definitely not worth the 14 dollars.
The old blue bottle was good stuff. This new green bottle is horrible, worst I've ever used. No hold whatsoever and and one touch of your hair and it turns into nasty looking white residue. They lost my business with this product.
It was like there was no product in my hair. And not in a good way.
[Employee of sephora] The hair gel leaves my hair flat. it instantly dissolves into a soap like texture and provides me with no hold. i have used gel pomade before or just salon gel. and this literally provides me with nothing. my hair conditioner has more hold than this. the scent is not the best once it is in hair

Old blue tube formulation was just right. This is too heavy, weighs my hair down & feels greasy
We disagree on this product -I say it looks natural, not stiff or like glue. He says it doesn't feel like it's doing anything, but admits it gives his hair volume (...which he doesn't like).
Makes my 3a curly hair crunchy but I'm pretty ok with that because it holds and anywayI wash my hair at night and use my hair products then (works for me). I do have to use my holy grail Living Proof Full mousse along with and blow dry. My curls stay big, bouncy and last for 2-3 days.
My boyfriend and I were at the mall, and I dragged him into sephora, he kept himself busy by checking out the black jack products and he put this in his hair and it looked great and you couldn't even tell there was gel and it didn't feel or look sticky or crispy. He normally doesn't wear product because of that, so when he said this was tolerable I went ahead and bought it for him.
I bought this for my brother, honestly to make it to $25 promo with something else I was buying. but anyways, He told me that it was one of the best hair gels he's used so far. very light in texture that still holds its shape very well. The smell he told me was not to strong but fresh. I personally took a star off because of the price of a hair gel.
