The teeth cleaner and breath freshener seems to be well tolerated by my doggo. I do notice there is a little bit of a rank smell after brushing and I am attributing that to the breakdown of the tarter on her teeth. The smell of the product is nice.

This Burt's Bees dog toothpaste is amazing. Most dog toothpastes taste or smell like chicken or beef, not so nice when you are trying to give them a minty fresh mouth. Our dog LOVES this toothpaste, and we have had ZERO struggle to brush his teeth!! Toothbrush is also nice, and stands up to a lot of chewing during the brushing.

I can’t really tell how to rate a good one or bad one, but since it’s so affordable I can use generous amount and even brush twice a day. My dog has no problem with the taste. The brush is ok, I used to use human brush, I guess it’s the same.

My dog got used to another brand of toothpaste and brush but I decided to try this brand. So he loves the taste of toothpaste but the brush is a bit firm for him or he just needs some time to get used to it. But I love that the brush is wood not plastic!!! and why 4 stars not 5? because I found carrageenan as one of the components in it which can cause some side effects.
