I chose this specific blend as it was the only one I found in which the composition of ingredients included Sichuan peppers and not white pepper. Taste is good and works well in my recipes.

I know there are many recipes for five spice powder, but I chose this one because cinnamon wasn't the first ingredient. I've used it for my stir-fry veggies and ramen, even on pork and chicken. I think this blend is well balanced, and a little goes a long way.

I enjoy the aroma of these chinese five spices, especially when combined with peanut butter. I made savoury sesame buns using these spices and they were delicious! The size of the container is quite big so they will last me for a while.
