I love how simple this essence is-literally just cypress water! It feels like pure water on the skin, absorbs instantly, and leaves zero sticky residue. It is amazing for calming down redness and sensitive flare-ups. Because it is 100% oil-free and fragrance-free, it doesn't trigger fungal acne or cause any breakouts. Quality: The bottle is relatively small and the contents are very watery. It's not easy to dispense the right amount. Unfortunately, the bottle is made of plastic. Frequency: I use it every day as part of my morning routine. It immediately reduces my redness. I haven't noticed any effect on my blackheads. However, it's very well tolerated and works great against reddish rashes. Unfortunately, it runs out quickly, so you have to check for sales, otherwise it's too expensive.

The texture is quite watery, so I use it as a toner. It can also be added to serums/oils/creams to aid absorption.

a bit disappointed as it doesn't have any of the lovely hinoki scent. also no discernable difference to skin after a few uses. feels like I bought overpriced water.

I noticed my skin is clearer after using this essence. It’s very watery, so it’s not very easy to apply, but I think it’s worth it. Probably will buy again, when it’s on sale.

Like all Mixsoon essences, it's light and hydrating. I chose it to help my skin combat acne and rosacea. I've been using Mixsoon for a few months now and I like the brand's simple yet effective philosophy. My skin is hydrated, smooth, with few breakouts, and reduced pores. Excellent quality.

was so excited to try this because I absolutely love Hinoki and it's qualities. I was under the impression this was essentially a hydrosol, so I thought it would have at least a faint smell of hinoki.. nope. So extremely disappointing. It smells and feels like plain water.
