I bought this hoping it would be a coffee substitute. It has a cocoa aroma and a rich, brown sugar-like flavor from the molasses, and the sweetness is just a subtle, natural sweetness from the ingredients, which is very nice. Considering the price and the packaging (sorry!), I thought it was very flavorful. However, personally, I couldn't help but notice the malty taste. I think it would be very delicious for people who don't mind that.

My husband is trying to ween himself off of coffee. This is the only one he likes from other alternatives on this site. He likes the cocoa one best. Give it a try.

Hard to Find But iHerb DidIt!
It's a bit pricey, this product, but it's an import, so that's why. Regardless, it's a great coffee substitute and the chocolate taste is subtle along with the chicory and other natural ingredients of Postum. I love it!

Though it says cocoa blend, it actually taste more like caro or natures cuppa.
I think this jar will go along way as you don't need alot of powder to one cup.
Nothing wrong with the quality or taste either.
So all good as a caffeine free alternative.

Great taste
I will give it 5 stars if it is cheap, but it isn't. The taste is good and gentle on the stomach. I have stomach issues so I couldn't drink normal cocoa because it is acidic. I'm so glad I found this! Good alternative. I have a happy morning because of this. My new favorite. The size is small so I only used one teaspoon in 1 cup of water.
