my cat has a food allergy and definitely sensitive skin prone to sores and hot spots ill be honest in my review since i know some people worry when in the same situation my cat is in recovery but still gets some hot spots yesterday i noticed a nail sized spot on the back of his neck probably from collar friction and his sensitive skin i applied this stick and checked after 3 or 4 hours the redness was down about 80 percent and the sore didnt get worse i was really surprised yes i used a $35 topical cream before and it works but it takes about a week to see results plus the smell is unpleasant and its steroid based so i was worried to use it on the other hand my cat doesnt mind the smell of this stick or try to lick it and its safe and organic so no worries note if your pet has a more complicated condition test on a small area first before regular use
