The truth is, I regularly suffer from an itchy scalp due to dryness or if a product irritates my scalp because it contains alcohol or other drying ingredients. One night when I was bothered by the itching from a shampoo that irritated my sensitive skin, I applied this product, and it calmed the irritation within minutes. A serum I use on the advice of my dermatologist, which contains alcohol that dries out my scalp when conditioners and shampoos aren't nourishing enough, also works wonders. It's very pleasant to use; it doesn't make my hair oily, and I don't notice any scent. I will definitely continue using it.
I don't have an issue with flakes, but I have itching and stinging of the scalp. I use other Living Proof products, so I chose this one to try. Yes, it is pricey, but it has improved my scalp comfort, applies easily, and smells great like all of their products. It feels soothing going on and I will continue to purchase, if needed.

I used it with the Kerastase one because I feel it has too much alcohol.
I liked the serum; the scent is very pleasant, it moisturizes well, and my hair stays fluffy afterwards. I'm just unsure if it's suitable for those with sensitive skin because of the perfume in the formula.
