This is on the very hot side for jalapeños, and it's a bit too vaguely "hot peppers" more than a really obvious recognizable fresh yummy green jalapeño flavor. It's not bad but being stuck with this expensive giant jar of what feels like mostly hot peppers with some reference to jalapeño is a regrettable purchase if you really want a distinct JALAPEÑO flavor. A small jar at half the price would have been much better. For me this is a 2.5 star purchase because of the price but the quality is good and can be used with many things, so it's a four.

Alright taste quality size composition snack value diet serving and package. I originally got to use and try to make molé and doesn't compare to fresh in comparison so i prefer to use as an ingredient in soup (for example) for higher frequency. I might add into sauces next

I can't find fresh jalapenos here so this powder is nice to have. So far I've used it in my chicken cutlet breading. You do have to whisk it in to avoid clumping.

In a city where it's difficult to find a jalapeño...this is a nice addition to any recipe where you want a little heat boost.

I really, really love jalapeño, this powder is excellent and the quantity is really large, it's a shame it doesn't come in smaller packages because it's still a hot pepper that you only use a little at a time. I keep it in the refrigerator so it doesn't go moldy.
