We use this coffee in our espresso machine. Very fresh. Very strong taste. A pit pricey.

Many dark roasts tend to have a strong bitterness and burnt flavor, but this one has a more balanced profile. The aroma is rich, the flavor is dense and deep, but without the feeling of being over-roasted. I especially enjoyed using it for a stronger brew, where the chocolate and rich coffee notes come through. A good option for those who enjoy a bold coffee but don't want an overly harsh taste.

It's listed as a dozen roast, but it looks like a medium dark. I think it would have been better if it was a little darker. The beans look like they were of high quality.
