This does have the texture of a serum, almost liquid, and yes of course it leaves a bit of a white cast, given the high percentage of non-nano zinc oxide (the reason I bough it). But as far as performance this is one of the worst I've ever tried. It stays stick and shiny no matter what. You can wait the whole day, it just won't set. I have combination skin and this wouldn't work as a base for makeup, it's so greasy and shiny and if you have long hair it will stick to your face. Maybe someone with very dry skin will like this, still it will slide around your face all day unless you set with powder. Also, it's very expensive for the tiny amount (like a foundation, 1 ounce). I wish I could return it, I'll never use it again.

It's a bit oily and at first you can definitely feel it on your skin, but if you like a glowy look you might like it. It is a bit expensive for such a small bottle, but good for carrying around.

That said, I personally prefer the feel of Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen for everyday wear under makeup. If you're looking for a gentle mineral face sunscreen, this is definitely worth trying.

And its smell is rare and it's fun. It feels moist and rare to wear when traveling, and the packaging is also very convenient.
