I have been purchasing Frontier Co-Op products for years and was surprised that the salt has a smell of CUMIN! Not sure what happened to their products but it is not good. They need to clean out their processing plant or something. Not good.
It is suitable for packing in a spice grinder or it can be crushed to obtain a smoother consistency using a mortar and pestle.
Hated having to buy a new salt grinder each time I ran out, so this is great to refill the grinder and reduce waste.
