This is actually my first time leaving anything less than a positive review on iHerb, and honestly, I should have trusted my instincts and gone with 1 star from the start. I was genuinely enthusiastic about this protein. For the price, I expected something high-quality. It’s non-GMO verified, yes — but not even organic. At this price point, that’s honestly a joke. I don’t even know why I bought it. Let’s get to the main issue: the taste is horrible. Not “not great” — actually horrible. I’m used to plant-based proteins (I regularly consume pure hemp protein, so earthy flavors don’t bother me at all), but this is on another level. It tastes like grass, tree leaves, something raw and unpleasant — and not in a natural or tolerable way. Before buying, I read reviews of other flavors. Some people were saying the taste was really bad, others were suspiciously positive. I decided to try it myself instead of trusting the reviews. Big mistake. The negative reviews were right. What makes it worse is that this is supposed to be “cookies & cream.” That’s honestly misleading. There’s no trace of that flavor. I don’t understand how a product with stevia, monk fruit, cocoa powder, and natural flavors ends up tasting like this. Either those ingredients are present in minimal amounts, or they just don’t work at all in this formula. I tried everything to fix it. I mixed it with: 100% marine collagen pure hemp protein a good-tasting chocolate protein Nothing worked. The grassy, leafy, unpleasant taste didn’t disappear or even improve — it stayed dominant and disgusting. At this point, I actually think this protein is giving me nausea. I can’t imagine taking a full serving (two scoops). It would be unbearable. The frustrating part is that on paper, this product looks amazing: great ingredient profile added vitamins probiotic blend antioxidant/superfood mix Everything looks perfect — until you actually try it. And honestly, when something tastes this bad, it feels like a red flag. As humans, that reaction usually means something isn’t right — whether it’s the formulation or the balance of ingredients. I even bought another flavor (brownie/banana), and now I’m not even eager to try it because this one was that bad. I originally gave this 3 stars thinking I could somehow “rescue” it by mixing it with other products. That’s not the case. This is, without exaggeration, the worst-tasting supplement I’ve ever bought in my life. If you truly don’t care about taste at all and only want something that looks good nutritionally, go ahead and try it. But if flavor matters even a little bit to you — avoid it. You’re not going to enjoy this.

I really dislike the beany taste of plant-based protein powders, but this one doesn't have much of that and is easy to drink. I tried the cookies and cream and chocolate flavors, and they were pretty much the same. However, with this volume and price, even when it's on sale, I don't think I'll be able to continue using it. So, unless something extraordinary happens, I won't be repurchasing it.

It is a product made with excellent raw materials.
