I've always drunk tulsi tea. In India, they say that if you have tulsi (holy basil) in your home, illness won't come near? I even consulted with an AI, and it seems to suit me, as I tend to be overly tense and have a dominant sympathetic nervous system. I've also been incorporating other holy basil supplements from time to time. I feel like I can relax faster if I take it with magnesium before bed. Perhaps having this time to relax and have a dominant parasympathetic nervous system is what keeps illness at bay. In this age of web information overload, I'm realizing the importance of relaxation all over again. I'll try taking this and doing breathwork before bed.
This supplement is very good value of well know adaptogen. It’s not the highest strength nor the best one out there, but if you need just little stress reduction without any side effects, this is satisfactory. Make sure you drink plenty of water as the holy basil has a drying effect on the body.

I really can't say anything about the product benefits for me since I have only been taking it for a few weeks. It is easy to swallow given the small size of the capsule and has no aftertaste. In a few months I'll re-evaluate and make adjustments if needed. I chose this brand because third-party testing is very important to me.
I am positive this is excellent quality..I had to return because I have Hashimoto’s..Vitacost brand are top notch in my opinion..
