The tablets are large and softgels. They're surprisingly easy to swallow. I started taking them to help with osteoporosis. They contain D3, so I think this should be enough for bone health. I don't think the numbers will change that easily just from taking them, but it's better than doing nothing, and I think it's especially necessary for women as they get older. It's a large quantity and contains a good amount of the active ingredients, so I'll continue taking it for a while.
