I'm a really Happy Camper!
Love, love, love this little steamer! Been looking for something sturdy and effective to use in the microwave to steam our garden and other veggies. We have a gas stove (which I love) but it's really hot weather here right now and I can't stand to even turn that stove on. I own lots of Cuisinart products and have always been pleased with their affordability and quality. Pretty sure this steamer will not let me down. It's easy to use and clean and does exactly what I need it to. And no hot kitchen!

Makes healthy food easy
This steamer is so versatile and easy and cooks so many different veggies and other foods with ease and retains their moisture. Just a little water in the bottom, microwave and voila!

So easy to make great veggies
I was looking for something simple to use for cooking raw vegetables. 2 T of water in the base, about 2 cups of vegetables in the steamer basket and into the microwave for 4 minutes (in a 1000 watt microwave) and they were done. Perfect texture and taste.

Microwave Steamer
It is much larger than I "thought" but it is great. I use it for vegetables only. I bought two as I will give one as a gift.
