I was looking for a plush throw and this isn't it! It's lightweight and just doesn't have that "i lov it" feel. Mine doesn't shed tho. Still not sure if I'm going to keep it. Bought one for my daughter and she's sending hers back.
I don't understand the negative reviews because I'm very picky. i purchased the purple to match my bedroom. it's so soft and cozy, fits over a full size bed, mine doesn't shed at all, washes nicely if you follow the directions.
More volume in the shaggy. Made very cheap.

This blanket is so snuggly I bought two! I have had it over 6 months now, and it looks like new after every wash! I bought the teal/turquoise and it matches perfect with the rest of my living room. I use it every night to watch TV, and it is my go to even when I am in another room.
I ordered purple but got a white instead. returning asap
Sheds so much seems like a breathing hazard. Needed it for baby photos but the amount of sheddimg makes it unusable as I am afraid fibers will go into babies mouth.
This item is not as described, it sheds immediately upon opening the pacakage. I will be returning it back to Macys for a refund.
The blanket appears soft however the packaging looks terrible. It's a gift and I am actually embarrassed to present it the way it arrived in the mail. It doesn't even have a tag on it and looks used. Not impressed with the presentation for the price.
