This lamp arrived today, and it is HUGE. The color is very nice, but much darker. The shade is also a very dark, straw-like color. Not at all "off white" as it looks in the picture. I was also surprised to see how large the base was. It looks more delicate online. Macy's made it very difficult to return, and I am so disappointed with the whole process.
Not as sturdy feeling as I'd hoped, but the glaze is very pretty and the lampshade is nice. I will definitely add a non slip pad to the base to try and prevent tipovers. It would be great for a guest room or other not highly trafficked area.
The color was gorgeous and it was sturdy.
Loved the color and shape. Wish it was a little taller but maybe a taller harp and shade will work. Seems pretty hefty so maybe our dog won't be able to knock this one over !
I ordered this lamp in October and was sent notification that I will not receive it until December. Therefore, the reason for such a low rating. I only hope it’s worth it! :( I will think twice before placing another order.
This is a gorgeous 3 way lamp. The glaze is exactly as pictured. The oxidized areas look real. It has a nice heft to it, feels stable. I leave off a star as the shade doesn’t look that great with the lamp. It is darker than represented and takes away from the beauty of the lamp.
