The branches on this tree were very sparse. Did not look like the picture. Also, the bottom tier of lights stopped working after one day. It looks very cheap.
I was looking for a slim tree during black Friday sales. I have owned 5 Christmas trees. My favorite tree is from Costco, but it's not slim. The one I like the least is from Michaels and it is slim. If this was not on sale, Costco's tree is a lot better quality with more lights, so I'd choose the Costco tree if I had space. However, with the BF sale price, this one fit the budget, and it's slim. It's way better looking than the slim tree I got at Michael's for the same price. This tree comes with gloves to protect your hands when you fluff it, which was nice.
I'm not sure why all the negative reviews but, I found this tree to be beautiful in not only color, but presence. The lights were bright and consistent throughout. The sizing was on point and putting the tree together was simple and easy. I would have purchased another at the price received from Macy's but, they were sold out. So I purchased two more in the next size up. It is as close to "natural looking" as I've seen out there and believe me, I critique everything. Yes, it's obsessive. LOL!
