[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works greats at holding a curl. I loved the consistency but please be aware it does not have a great scent. I prefer gels with more scent in them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been straightening my hair for years so I wasn’t sure if any curls would pop up, but for my hair being damaged, this product helped bring out some curls. The product is somewhat gel like and easy to apply. I usually wash my hair by day 3 and my curls still held pretty well. At first it makes your hair a little crunchy but once you scrunch it, it goes away.

It’s a solid gel option but maybe not for South Florida’s weather. I still had frizzes. It’s definitely not the elixir that will end all other gels, but it held up for an evening event and that’s good. I have thick coily hair, so I may need to apply more water and moisturizer to make this gel perfect. It’s only been a few days but so far so it’s decent.

My hair was frizzy and it was humid during this particular day. I think my curls look a little more defined but overall didn’t do too much for frizz or humidity control. The scent is great but maybe try a small bottle before buying.

I like to squeeze a decent size amount to my palm, rub my hands together and disperse throughout my hair. It’s not as sticky as I thought it would be. It does have a nice hold to it though. I applied, let it air dry, and in checking on my hair about 5 hours later, I noticed my curls looked intact and had a nice shine to them!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so hopeful for Ouidad's Advanced Climate Control Gel since I live in a very humid area and wanted to tame my frizz and keep my curls/waves defined. Applying was good because my hair didn't feel crunchy like it usually does when I use gel. I used a generous amount in my hair. I finger combed it and my hair felt lightweight and shiny. I air dried my hair and then an hour later, my hair started to look super dry and dull in certain areas. And the frizz started to make an appearance. This was still the morning before the humidity was out in full force. Once I got to work the frizz is noticeable (pictured), but it wasn't too bad. As the day progressed, it got worse. By the night, my hair was frizzy and was getting tangled (curls/waves were a jumbled mess). I had to constantly finger comb my hair throughout the day to keep it somewhat manageable. It could be my hair that makes it difficult to tame or maybe I need to put even more product on, but my results were disappointing and the good was short-lived. It does help a little with the frizz (as my hair does get worse without product), but was hoping it to last longer.

I used it after the shower and my hair was still frizzy afterwards. It could be worse, but I wasn’t necessarily stoked over the results; especially for the price but maybe it might work better for other hair types.

However it is does have a very hard cast that will need to be scrunched out if wanting a softer result. I did find it also leaves behind a white cast which can be frustrating and resulted in having to wash it out. May be better suited for slick backs.
