Not spectacular. Very little sparkle. The clasp is very small and difficult to open and close. Dull and does not look expensive. Shipped in a flimsy cardboard box. I will not purchase jewelry from Macy's again.
This necklace is simply spectacular! It is very brilliant and it shines like clear diamonds do when they are exposed to bright lighting conditions. The 18-inch length is perfect for wearing with any type of neckline. The only thing I will admit that might be a problem is, the Lobster Clasp is "very, very small" and so is the ring which it attaches to. Therefore, as it is worn throughout time, it might "give way" (become ajar) at some point in the future and because of the "small size," it would be impossible to find either the Lobster Claw or the Round Closure Ring if they were lost somewhere. Anyway, this is the only downside that I am listing, but I highly recommend this Black Onyx Necklace with its 14K Gold Accents to be purchased by anyone who loves and/or desires, "luster and brilliance" in order to accessorize your wardrobe. Absolutely gorgeous onyx necklace. Got for myself and for my sister's birthday. This necklace is classic looking item, it can mach with any business suit or dress. Absolutely love it. Would love to buy same cuishon stile earrings. Please make it.
The onyx beads in this necklace glisten due to all the facets in them. The necklace isn't too heavy, since it's shorter, which was my only concern. Effy shows attention to detail, which makes it one of my favorite jewelry designers.
