Macy's should do better. This item arrived in a large box with no additional packing. The red box had a large hole in the top. Who would give this as a present in that condition? The outer large box had no damage. I have to assume that it was put into the larger box in the damaged conditon.
This item was purchased for someone else. The red Lenox box was in a much larger Macy's box with no other packing. However, the Lenox box had a huge hole in the top. I believe it was shipped like that because there was not indication that the Macy's box was damaged.
