Bought because I needed a larger bread knife. I have been buying homemade sourdough bread and it just needs a larger blade. This worked great. Only problem was that I needed a new knife block.

We used to buy all sorts of nice knives, but realized we always ended up using just the Henkels so now we only buy Henkel's. We love their ergonomics, durability and ability to maintain sharpness.

Seems like a big price for a knife? Totally worth it. Great gift!!

Excellent bread knife. Really works well on homemade sourdough bread.

I really liked my old knife better. The handle on the old knife was easier to grip.

Handle is way too small for the size of the blade, I will not be buying any more.

Love this Bread Knife. Smooth cuts with little effort. Matches my classic set and fits in my current knife block.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this bread knife for my wife as a Christmas gift. We've had a set of knives from another manufacturer that included a bread knife. We haven't been happy with that knife for a while. We used this knife to slice bagels and it was a pleasure. this knife sliced right through them, unlike our old knife. So far we are very very pleased.
