Ultimately, I decided I wanted it all to myself. It has the perfect weight, and it's so sharp. The design is a huge perk. I'll definitely get the others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KIYOSHI 6” Chefs Knife is not only pretty to look at it is SHARP! The first thing my husband noticed was how light it is. I used to to cut tomato’s and it did a great job. The slices were so thin and the tomato wasn’t squished in the process. A nice knife makes a big difference in the kitchen. It’s actually fun to prep food.

I chopped up garlic, then carrots, and even a head of cauliflower with ease, upon first use it is VERY sharp. One criticism I have is it should come with an equally well-made and decorated knife cover for storage/handeling (if you don’t have the whole set/matching block). The handle has a nice weight to it, making it easy to use and feels well made. Overall, a very nice knife that I’m glad to have in my kitchen.
