i asked for a custom knife , and i got the knife plain with no initials and it was supposed to be a special bday gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a crazy amazing knife! The sharpest knife I’ve ever owned. I may have cut myself with it a few times. The handle is a bit weird and difficult to get a good grip on, but maybe that’s because I’m left handed.

It has weight to it and the handle takes some getting used to but it really sliced through vegetables beautifully, specifically tomatoes. I know this knife will last for a long time!

The knife itself has a good weight that provides an excellent grip, making it comfortable to hold and use. In terms of performance, this knife is exceptionally sharp and cuts through ingredients effortlessly. It's a reliable tool for various kitchen tasks, delivering precision and ease of use. However, I must note that I was hoping to use it for slicing thin meat, such as for shabu shabu or Pho. Unfortunately, due to the thickness of the blade, it’s not quite suitable for achieving those ultra-thin slices. As a result, I would recommend looking for a knife with a thinner blade for those specific needs. Overall, I give the Cuisine::pro iD3 BLACK SAMURAI Chef's Knife 4 stars. It’s a fantastic addition to any kitchen for general use, but for very thin slicing, you might need a more specialized knife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m obsessed! I didn’t know it was possible to love a knife this much. Firstly, the packaging it arrived in was a 10/10. Then when I held it, there’s this incredible weight balancing too it that I’ve never experienced. It’s somehow kinda heavy and also really light at the same time. The blade is incredibly sharp and the handle is very natural to hold. It’s one of those items that when you use it for the first time you know it’s going to last, and remain in great shape for the long-term. And… it also look amazing just on a visual standpoint. All in all, somehow my high praises still seem to not fully sell how high quality of a product this is. I 100/10 recommend.
