My daughter is in high school and has to wear these skirts or khaki. She really wants the plaid because all the other girls in her class wear them. However, she is about a size 18 in womens and carries her weight in her belly due to PCOS. The adult skirt no elastic in the waist and the largest size is an adult 16. I ordered a 16 but will have to have a seamstress add elastic to the waist or add fabic in the waist. Plus size is offered in the kids version, but she needs an adult plus which isn't an option.

Cute skort. Hits about 4” above the knee. Just wish the decorative pockets were actually pockets. Even a hidden pocket in the shorts underneath would be helpful. Got the size 0. I’m 5’5” 100 lbs.

I hate having to try to order a uniform that fits. The sizing charts are not even close. Now I will be making a trip during Spring Break with child to a neighboring state just to be fitted and returning the ones ordered that were not even close to fitting.

I bought this skirt through Land's End School, as a part of my school's uniform. It's so adorable! I absolutely love it, but unfortunately I can't wear it... My school requires skirts to be no more than 2 inches above the knee, and this skirt comes to my mid thigh--about 6 inches above the knee. In my opinion this should be classified as a 'mid thigh' skirt and not an 'above the knee'. Although it's quite modest it does not meet my school's requirements. I'm keeping the skirt and might try to sneak it in a few times during the school year. 😊 Other than the length, this skirt is lovely. I ordered my usual size (4) and it fit very well, not suffocating me, but not falling down. (for reference I'm 5' 6", 135 lbs., 27 inch waist) Great material, doesn't wrinkle, and stunning design.

Perfect skirt for school! It's not too fitted, has built in shorts and it looks feminine. Great skirt that always looks neat straight out of the dryer.
