I was buying this knife as a gift for someone who might be getting into becoming a chef. However, I added a second knife of the same kind on the recommendation of a doctor of mine who loves to cook and loves these knives. My knives are getting old. This knife is fabulous so far. Cuts things like It was cutting butter: meat, bread, veggies, fruit.

This knife is wonderful! Not even sure what I am supposed to be using it for but it chops onions so small, great for all vegetables; I have yet to try it with spaghetti squash that will be the true test because I love my fall root veggies and squash! It is so light and easy to hold. Love it!
