These earrings are spectacular and very flattering. I'm not sure why the other reviewers had trouble wearing these earrings. They are very easy to put on. One is for the right ear and the other the left. The only trouble I had was after wearing them for a short while, the clip part around my earlobe started to hurt a little. But I read that it one has to play around with positioning to get the right fit of climber type earrings.
The earrings were very difficult to put on. When I get home, I will remove the upper portion.
I thought by buying a better quality set of these I would not have the issue of them coming off the ear lobe. I was wrong. It is not only difficult to get them on the ear lobe, it is quite difficult to get them to stay on the lobe.
