This is an essential classroom tool, in my opinion, if one is using PowerPoint slides. It allows one to advance slides and use the pointer from any location in the room, or have students point out key elements of a slide. It is also very helpful when students are giving presentations to highlight parts of figures. I gave it a 4 because the buttons are very close together and one can accidentally hit the wrong button. It also has a 4 because I bought this identical unit last year and it only lasted 14 months, and died permanently just before senior presentations on the last day of class. I am hoping this one lasts longer than that.

Replaced an off-brand piece of junk with this one. Logitech never fails. They have excellent products and are reasonably priced. This remote works like a champ.

After an hour or so, the clicker stops and it won't work again - unless I reboot the computer. I've tried turning the clicker off and on, and changing the USB port of the receiver, but neither of those things work. The only solution is to reboot the computer. I find this quite unacceptable, and not what I expected from a Logitech product.

I am unable to connect my recently bought Logitech R400 pointer to my Mac. Kindly help me out.

Second one I purchased for my company. Love this device.

I have used my R400 for years without issues. Then, rather suddenly, the rubber coating became sticky. No amount of cleaning resolved this problem. It is now a dust magnet, like a lint roller. Still functional but unpleasant to use.

I purchased the R400 and it mostly works well for classroom presentation imn PowerPoint. However, after ~30 minutes it freezes up and PowerPoint stops functioning. I must restart the entire system, sometimes rebooting my PC. It's not a battery issue. What gives?

I would prefer Logitech to provide a dedicated driver. Now the device is "recognized" by windows 10 Pro and gets a 2006 Keyboard driver assigned. No idea how to work around this. Renders the clicker useless. Worked earlier on my previous PC, but due to Covid haven't needed major client presentations for a while. And now? Garbage?

I had a short time where the remote worked but had to constantly add new batteries. This was in the middle of my presentation. Very inconvenient. Can you help me with this issue?
