Soft and luxurious. True to size.
this is a beautiful sweater that is as silky and soft as possible. However, in the photo it looks like it is fairly decent in length, whereas it is actually so short it is barely even waist length! I am so terribly disappointed.
Great jumper, very soft and fairly thick for merino. Good quality, I got a size down to my usual size and it fitted well.
I am happy I bought the small Gilly Stripe in brown/black. I am 5'3", 34B and usually US size 4-6 in tops. I expected it to be more slouchy, and unfolded the sleeves do extend almost to the second knuckle. But length and width are more traditional fit. Overall effect is preppy, loose fit that feels quite classic. If you are tall or want an exaggerated oversize look, as on the model, you may consider sizing up. If I choose to buy another, which I can absolutely imagine, I might consider sizing up. However I do feel it is flattering as is.
Looks and feels expensive and lush. I love wearing and styling this piece!
