These do run large. I ordered a large and a medium, and the medium fit perfectly. I love the fabric and the loose style. I tried them with different tops, not all worked, but with the right top they are very stylish. Would order again.
Fit and drape on the sagging side. Not flattering. Runs big, too.
I ordered these culottes for my mother to wear at my wedding. She is about 4'11 and 150 lbs. I first ordered the XL and they were too big so I reordered in size L and waiting for them to arrive. The material is very soft and cool to the touch. Although they do fall below the shin, they look like a long skirt which is perfect for a mother who does not wear dresses.
