Good for comforter but I wouldn't consider it a down alternative. Its 100% polyester.

Terrific Comforter
I love this UGG comforter. It is light and fluffy, like a cloud, but offers great warmth. I just received it so have not washed it yet therefore I cannot speak to it's condition after laundering.
