I had neck surgery a little over a decade ago, and I require special curvature in a pillow or as I referred to with a neck supporting pillow. This one is excellent because it is the right height and very supportive of my neck and it is firm enough without being too hard.. the cooling component in the pillow is also a definite plus. I am really happy that I was able to find this pillow when it was on sale. I would definitely recommend it.

I settled on 3 stars because the pillow is great and comfortable BUT Macy's shipping was abysmal. This pillow arrived via UPS in a torn plastic envelope with the inner plastic torn open......WAY open as well. The pillow was hanging out of both packages. Not what a platinum level customer should expect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a left side and back sleeper. When I sleep on my side I have to have my arm under the pillow. I tried sleeping like that with this pillow and it was uncomfortable. Also it didn't seem to give as much support as I figured it would. I ended up waking up with headaches. Other than that it seemed like it would be soft enough. Along with my cooling pillow case it did seem cooler than any other pillow I've had.

It supports and cradles the neck giving excellent comfort and stability. I slept like a baby. I love the functional aspect of this pillow. It worked well for me and I love it.
