The note that came with the blanket tells that you should wash it to remove creases from vacuum sealing. It has been washed once and the creases are still there but less noticeable. There are a few snags or loose threads so it almost feels a little fragile. One of my kids loves the silkiness and the other does not think silky feels cozy.
