It's very durable and easy to clean. Just snap the top off the base and clean away. The ledges are at such a hight that it controls the odor.

I usually use the Jumbo cat litter box liners, but this was too big for the jumbo liners to fit. I ended up needing to use a whole 40-pound box of litter to fill it. My cats were surprisingly okay with the open cover. But unfortunately, this box is just too big to maintain at the capacity that I need for my 4 cats. It was easier to take care of 2 boxes than it was to take care of this one.

With two large cats who love to dig and scatter, I was desperate for a solution that could contain the mess without making them feel cramped—and this box nailed it. The design makes it easy to clean and very durable. Not sure how well it will hold the odor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of this litterbox is amazing for my big 10lb kitty, and he absolutely loves it. My one gripe is that there are ridges all around the outside edge of the of the bottom of the box, which makes scooping (pee clumps in particular) a very annoying process. A smooth bottom would be a much better design, as the ridges cause the clumps to break into little bits when scooping which makes the litter dirtier. I use clay litter, so it might be fine for a different litter type. Size-wise, great litterbox.
