Well-packaged but clearly flimsy plastic doesn't endear the customer. No documentation worth reading in the package. I used the original Saitek (pre Mad Catz) version with dedicated power supply with FSX extensively. Alas, Father Time knocked on that device and Redmond went for "new and improved" solutions.
Like the USB only interface since the power supply version became finicky but the controls on the original were smoother (more grease, eh).

It's great because it comes with a throttle, which is a must have if you're planning to study for pilot

Gets the job done
It does a decent job for flight simming. Not the best or worst on the market.
Doesn't perform as smooth as a real life yoke. (I'm a real life pilot).
All in all it's okay.
