Several of the items have flaws. It appears that there were defects in the material that they tried to cover with the glaze. One of the plates chipped in the dishwasher after just 1 wash. So far not impressed with the quality and do not feel like these will last.

The color is more of a blue gray than a dark charcoal gray like the pictures show.
These were shipped and arrived perfect, perfect packaging! Super sturdy dishware and good quality. One note I do have is the pictures make them look a little darker than they are. They are lighter than they appear, more of a true grey than the darker grey it looks like in the photos. I still love them and am keeping them
Great color. Mid century modern style. Bowls are perfect size. Appreciate the rims on the plates. Very sturdy. Accidentally dropped a bowl in the sink while unpacking and it did not chip or break.
I was searching for a new dinnerware set for some time and settled on this. It looks great, great quality and color, and could not be happier with my purchase.
1 large plate came broken. I contacted Macy's and rep said all i can do is return it at a local store. This came in 2 packages, and both are extremely heavy for me to lift, get into a car and carry it into my local macys. Really upset with the service..would rather just receive 1 replacement of that larger dinner plate.

Also, very practical which is obviously a plus. They are quite heavy, but have been through my dishwasher and microwave multiple times without any issues. I love the lipped rim which to me is a small thing, but oh so convenient! These dishes almost seem to fancy to use on a daily basis! Definitely glad I chose them!
